We Are translation from Translation on Vimeo.

We are an agency built to help brands thrive in contemporary culture. Though our work ranges from advertising to strategic consulting to new product development and beyond, everything we do upturns convention and shapes a brand’s place in culture.

Since we founded Translation in 2004, we have done culture-leading work that led Businessweek to refer to us as “The McKinsey of Pop Culture."

2011 was a particularly transformative year, positioning us as the lead agency of record for Anheuser-Busch’s biggest brands, and across all of State Farm's young adult efforts. We have since added key new assignments from The Coca-Cola Company, Nokia, and the Brooklyn Nets, and over the course of the past year, have been one of the fastest-growing agencies in America.

In recognition of this growth, last year AdAge named us #2 on their list of standout shops.

Our team is a diverse mix of 100 creative entrepreneurs from different perspectives, backgrounds, and beliefs. We’re passionate, seldom satisfied, and always looking to create what’s next.

We invite you to spend some time on this site getting to know us, our approach, and our work.

To begin, here’s a short video introduction to Translation.
